Friday morning at home

Little O puts the states in the puzzle back in order.
Idaho

New Hampshire...

Next, a game of checkers...
o's move

The game set was a gift from a friend of T's.

We also made paper from our scrap paper stockpile. Here is O blending it into pulp.

And A pouring the pulp onto a spare window screen.

We have also read 2 Magic School Bus books and listened to about a half an hour of an audio recording of one of the books from the Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. We have all of the books from the series on CD's, and the boys love to listen to them on trips in the car and while they do puzzles, draw, color or eat.

I wonder what we'll do this afternoon...

Marci, does their map puzzle have pieces for each state? Even the dinky ones like New Jersey? (In size, Kelly, not importance!) If so, where did you get it? The one we bought at the conference still lumped those little easterners in one piece. *sigh*

Almost all of the states are separate, except for poor Rhode Island. It is linked to a neighboring state. I bought it for A, 7 years ago in Houston, and I have not seen another one like it. I have read that Lauri makes a soft puzzle map of the U.S. which has a piece for each state. I have seen it on Timberdoodle.com, but I have not picked it up. If you decide to order one, let me know. I would like to order some for gifts.
