down to the coast

We went to Corpus this weekend to watch Flour Bluff play some mean football. My boys and I took the chance to visit some friends at the aquarium...

Saturday in Austin

T and I can't seem to stop ourselves from smiling, whenever we drive into Austin. There is just something special about that town. We spent a while at the Austin Zoo, before meeting Grumpa, Dusty and Sean for a late lunch to celebrate Dusty's 30th birthday. Astro A was lucky enough to be invited by Grumpa to go to the UT game. They had a great time watching the Horns beat Baylor.

Here are a few photos from the day...

a good week

A weaving
Astro A is working on a scarf for his friend, F, who is moving to Amarillo soon. We will miss her and her great family at our park days!

O's find
Due to just the right conditions the last few weeks (not sure what the factors are), there have been literally millions of snoutnose butterflies around here. This little guy didn't make it. Little O found him in the garage.

got it
A had tennis today. It was close to 100 degrees by 11:30! When will Fall begin?

taking a break in the shade

O helps out
Little O helps to pick up balls by making a basket out of his shirt.

reading
A relaxes with a good book.

And finally, we are still working on O's alphabet book. Here is his idea for B...

We are...
