math, our style...
Manipulatives are fun, and they allow the kids to make their own mathematical discoveries. Here, O shows us the many ways to get to 8, exploring addition, subtraction and multiplication in the process.
The conversation went something like this...
me: It is time to do your math.
A: OK, but I'm going right back out to ride my bike, as soon as I am finished.
me: OK
